Meskwaki Nation

The Meskwaki Nation community over the years has been growing at a very rapid rate, due to the economic impact that the Meskwaki Bingo, Casino, Hotel has created. The Meskwaki Nation has made some vast improvements that have benefited the people of the Meskwaki community. Some of the areas of improvements have been made in the following areas:

* HOUSING *. The economic development has provided permanent housing for many tribal members. Many of the housing projects have enabled many families to move back onto tribal lands.

* EDUCATION *.The Sac & Fox Settlement school has expanded its facilities, including grades Pre-K to eighth. New talk of expansion will include 9th to 12th grade. The expanding facilities is estimated to be in the million dollar area, also adding a recreation center in the process.

* MESKWAKI CASINO *.
